8Sages-Gruene*The Barn Cottage

Zero communication with property manager - cannot communicate through app, and when you call the number they give on a weekend, they don’t answer or return messages. The property hadn’t been properly cleaned before arrival. Looked like it was cleaned after last renters, but maybe it had been a while between rental stays. Cob webs everywhere, dead rollie pollies all over the floors, dust on counters in kitchen, dust/dirt on the comforters. The pool hasn’t been cleaned in a while - full of debris at the bottom, a film and dirt/leaves floating on top. Very disappointed.

Everything was good and cozy. We did encounter 2 red wadps upstairs. Other than that it was a good stay. We will return for sure

Cute little cottage with all the necessities. The beds were comfortable and the property was cozy and clean. It was very close to Gruene where all the shops and restaurants are located.

The barn cottage was so cute. We really enjoyed the plunge pool. The ability to rent a golf cart and have it delivered to the house was a huge bonus. We were able to drive it straight into Gruene. The river is close. The customer service we received was impressive. I loved the shower features that included a hand held sprayer and rain shower head. The decor was very cute. The stairs are steep, but wasn’t a problem. Overall we had a great time and look forward to returning.

Cute little cabin located in Gruene and a short drive to San Marcos.
